Your bad driving encounters

Run me through this?

Highway code says, paraphrasing a bit, that you should actively turn them on and off to avoid dazzling vehicles behind you, in reality it isn't always very practical - personally I just drop back a bit where I can still see them but reduce any impact from the fog lights.

Fair enough. I just figured that, if it was "pretty foggy" then no issue with people having them on. I guess that the fact that the density of fog is very subjective as to when people think its thick enough to warrant fog lamps or not doesn't help.

It was more an issue when we stopped at a roundabout. The worst was a 1 series as they are at eye level. There were a couple of fiestas but on them they're down low so not too bad. It was more people not knowing the rules.

BMW seem to have a bit of a thing about putting the fogs high up & the brake light low down.

It's worse on one of the Bini models. Fogs are in the main lamp cluster and the brake lights are in the bumper.
