Learnt to drive 3 years ago at the age of 30, wish I'd learnt sooner as I really enjoy driving.

07 - 1.2 Renault Clio xtreme(ly slow).
11 - 1.6 Ford Focus Titanium

When I finish uni in a few years I'd like to get a 3 series with a nice engine.

My car history is sure to make everyone envious:

Citroen Saxo 1.1 Desire
Toyota Yaris 1.0 VVT-i
Citroen C2 1.6 VTS
Seat Ibiza 1.2 FR

Currently: walking!

I think the C2 was probably my favourite of the bunch - felt like driving a go-kart.

'02 yaris- learned to drive in it but it was me mum's
'99 323f- my mum inherited from me grandad, older car and was a bit "foxed" but at least it had an actual boot. 1.3l petrol returning 21mpg and a whopping 40 rather decrepid horses, needless to say you barreled into every corner at 60 because it took so long to get back if you lost speed.
'01 fabia- first car i actually owned, great wee motor, had it's usual skoda electrical gremlins and the suspension was made of cheese but the motor never gave an inch and it was quite well appointed (except for the ghastly creme interior). still wish i'd kept it as a runabout/convert into an ironic track car.
'05 e90 325i- nice wee step up from the skoda, and at least the creme interior is actually creme, good runner and my first foray into something that doesn't roll like a battleship in the corners.

next, not quite sure, would love an actual sports car, the 325 was the best balance between mildly sporty but also being comfortable for long hikes (and it's done some long hikes in the short time i've owned it) and having the practicality for carrying the bootful of associated gubbins for airsoft/shopping/generally carting people/stuff around.

might run the bm into the ground, or might go for maybe z4/old disco combo.

A few overlaps there as I tend to run 2 cars at the same time. Listed them in order of purchase.

Next car will be a replacement for the CR-V. Probably a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. The Jag I will keep for a while until my boy is big enough to safely fit in the front seat of a 2-seater. Then I'll probably get either an F-Type or if funds don't allow that then an XKR.

I don't plan on adding anymore to this list for a long time but fair to say I've had my experiences!

Hard to pick a favourite all great in different ways but I will always remember picking up the M3 E46 and R8 two cars I'd dreamed of owning when younger.

The C63 does everything all my previous cars did well but all in one package. Logical move down from the R8 if you like and just as fun, the engine is better!

In acme's chair.
While it isn't the most prestigious one in the thread so far, I think your car history is my favourite @Tom|Nbk

Simply because there is a fantastic variation of excellent cars there, and ownership of those cars are reasonably realistic goals. :)

I forgot to mention how interesting the Maserati was, real Italian prestige. I sold it because the seats were horrendous and only Built for small Italian men but it had a real flare to it.

Maserati Granturismo next? Who knows :p
