Your contribution to the internet??

I've made a few stupid pictures that have been used by other people, it's always nice to someone enjoying your work. Professionally, my photography and copy is used on a retail website with a very large turnover, I'm not as proud of that though.

i didnt make it but im pretty sure i started the whole craze for the 'badger badger badegr song' a few years ago !

i ofund it by absolute chance on a wierd websirte and showed a mate at school, who showed another, and i remember that by the end of the week everybody was singing it ! it was bizzareeeee !

i suppose this kind of relates to the ' stick insect theory'
Rick

I've personally met the crazy Irish bloke (Iga) who created the Steam loading animation which ends in "thank you for using Steam-ing pile of ****."

Not my contribution to the net, I know, but that's a damn famous sig now. ;)

Rick

That would be b3ta.com who spread the word about that.

Personally, I make short films and stick 'em up on the web for free. Free entertainment/torture if people want them.

I'm pretty sure I started the whole "quoted for truth" thing on here. I don't remember anyone saying it before I did, then I went away for the weekend and came back to see everyone using it :/
That may be true, but 'quoted for truth' was being said years ago on the SA forums. Same as 'fixed it for you', which started when some guy posted a picture of his car with a big dent in the side. Someone took the picture, brushed out the dent in Photoshop and posted it again, with the comment 'fixed it for you'. FACT.

That was posted on weebls-stuff.com, which = instant popularity! Same as the Kenya song.

Some cats with human faces, a modified Citroen AX (long before that new MTV UK advert for Pimp My Ride ) and other stuff on a website I rarely update anymore. The car modding one got the most attention, though.

I started the "i" thing years ago. Honest to god.

It means internetCraig. For Craig when online, simply.

Apple have a better use to it, and nobody would ever believe me that I've had this name since I started using the net, which must be way over 7 years ago.
Gord > you.

I'v shared my fair bit of stash, that's what I'v done ;)

I'm pretty sure I invented the seti sigs where the stats are overlaid on a normal sig.

There were already a couple of stats sigs about which all had a uniform look and just put the numbers on a plain background but I took it a few steps further and then hosted sigs for the OcUK team and also made my code available for other teams to use.

Vix is convinced that her and one of her exes invented the whole 'meh' thing but I reckon they just picked it up subconsciously from somewhere else.

I invented the word 'Kewl' in 1996, I never saw it used before. I got sick of seeing 'cool' spammed to messages. Cool was the lol of its day.
