I meant it can't be, as currently implemented. Not sure why it couldn't, surely there could be a way of 'seeing' if the incoming signal has changed in the last 5 mins or so and then put a screensaver on.

Oh I realise it can't do it, I just just didn't think it would be that hard to implement.I meant it can't be, as currently implemented.
It shouldn't be, but maybe it's more complex than it seems.Oh I realise it can't do it, I just just didn't think it would be that hard to implement.
Well my C8 has developed a bit of image burn in, Mrs had the snooker on and fell asleep with it on with her usual afternoon cat nap, the score board at bottom of table is showing up, not noticeable on normal viewing as of yet but seen it when on the lg app store which is like pinky/red background

What? I have a B7 and I’d be furious if I had to buy a new one after only 3 years.if that fails, just use the TV and enjoy it or buy a new one

I paid £2700 that's the price they were in 20183 years for a £2k TV haha. Not fit for purpose.
I do, I won't be getting a new one just yet, just bought a cx one for my pc, I would like 5 years out of it, got other things to buy first like a new fish tank which costs more than the tvruns pixel refresh
if that fails, just use the TV and enjoy it or buy a new one, the C8 is about at that age now where a upgrade is not a bad choice. I wouldn't expect to go longer than 3 years on average if you're gonna be using the TV with fixed elements like scoreboards
I slashed her house keep for a monthSPOOK! I wouldn't worry too much, you can always get another. The wife i mean.
I can imagine a lot of people fall asleep to the snooker.
Some people are in to that sort of thing.
It's the modern way, people replace them every year or two even without issues. Keeping up with the internet Jones'.
People buying new OLEDs every year or just ordinary TVs?
Not so much here but over on avforums there are people who must have the latest model every year.
