90% of the stuff past the first four albums was dire in my opinion.

I would say A Day At The Races is the earliest Queen album I can listen to all the way through and enjoy every song. The ones before that I have perhaps one or two tracks on each album that I like.

I've always considered XO and Either/Or to be his best albums.

I only have 'Either/Or' and 'XO' right now. I'll be getting the rest asap. I'm very interested to hear the production job on 'From A Basement On A Hill' since the man himself didn't have a say in the mixing.
