Your favourite chilli sauce is?

its a great chilli sauce and cheap the only problem is the god dam bottle nozzle ! you might only want a small amount on but its like russian roulette how much comes out each time ! :D

I have thier regular hot pepper one in a squeezy bottle... it's thinner than than the one that comes in the glass bottles I'm sure... you can end up with more than you bargained for with the squeezy bottle!!

i try to try at least one new hot sauce a month. this months try is

Cholula Original Mexican Hot Sauce . now i hate sweet chilli sauces. there isnt many that arent sweet but this is really nice. not dear would buy again. who uses the sauce shop chilli sauces any good ?

Sauce Shop are great! Really tasty sauces and I love the fact that they don't add anything artificial, their original hot sauce for example:
Aged Red Jalapeno (59%), White Grape Vinegar, Salt, Garlic
That's it, nice and simple.

Encona original hot pepper is my go to.
Fresh hot pita bread with humus drenched in encona sauce.
Occasionally I may top with Kewpie mayonnaise (prefer the egg yolk mayo, rather then whole egg mayo)

i do like encona but the plastic bottle is a bit like russian roulette with how much comes out :p

Franks for me, ol' reliable and easy to find in most supermarkets.
i honestly dont know how the franks hot sauce is so popular. so bland boring..i have got two bottles of the burnt jalopeano to try..son seems to like it not tried it myself yet. want to try the sauce shop stuff but my local tescos never has any of it in stock and off the website its like 5.95 delivery for a £2 bottle of hotsauce or 25 quid min order..would like to try the original and the pineapple one.

The Ribman of London knocks out some absolute bangers if you want something that actually tastes of chillies rather than spicy vinegar. His main one is not too spicy bit full of flavour. He does hotter versions too if you prefer.
Vinegar based supermarket suttf.... I normally go with Cholula regular or chipotle. Valentina is better for that but harder to find. La Costena salsa verde has a lovely tangy mild taste... I could drink it out of the bottle.

Depends what its for tbh.

Franks is OK but I find i get tired of it, as its very citrusy and vinigary.

Problem with sauces that the main ingredient is chilli peppers, is they can be too hot for sensitive people... but then you dont even get to taste the differences between different types of chilli peppers.

For stuff easily available from supermarkets, Encona I would say is the best, although Morrisons 'hot Habernaro' is hard to beat for the price, usualy about a quid a bottle.

If you want something a bit more interesting, i reccomend East coast chilli co.... more expensive, but the 5 sauce 'pick 'n' mix' selection boxes are good value and the taste is a step above they come in small bottles for testers or larger ones.

Large bottles:https://www.eastcoastchillicompany.co.uk/product/large-chilli-sauce-gift-set-box/

Smaller bottles https://www.eastcoastchillicompany.co.uk/product/chilli-sauce-60ml-box-gift-set/

But just bear in mind, their 'hot' is probaly very hot indeed for most people who buy supermarket sauce, so maybe stick to their 'medium' sauces if you are unsure.

further to this. ..... The Rib man is making some more of his buffalo wing sauce this week. It's not always available but it's really good. listed on his site now. Get some 'holy $$4 while you are at it... proper chilli flavours, lovely.

Marie Sharp's Mild Habanero Pepper Sauce. It's not mild by most people's standards imo. I found this and pretty much stopped looking - it's absolutely delicious, I put it on/in almost everything.

Really enjoying this at the minute.

Got 8 bottles for £4. Also got 8 of the Jamaican BBQ version and the Cayan version both nice as well.

Wiltshire Chilli Farm - Habanero is my favourite. Very versatile, and pretty good heat level without being silly.
