The first game I remember playing was some Olympic game at a family members house. It was on a long jump level. I dont even remember the console, ATARI maybe. lol. I was only about 4-5 years old.
My brother told me that day I said to my cousin, "you have a cool dad, I wish I had a dad like yours" i.e. one that got me a games console. lol. My dad heard this and next thing I know I got a sega master system and shortly after a Nintendo entertainment system.
Anyone remember the rocky game on the master system. I could never beat drago. I downloaded a sega emulator recently and downloaded that game with a piece of software that let me assign a key to be turbo so I could get maximum scores and gain the ability to beat him
I remember completing super mario brothers on the NES at the age of 5. I even have a picture of it, as my 17 year old brother back then could not do it. lol. That was 19 years ago
Adventure on the ZX81, then remember PacMan on my brothers Vic20 (cartridge). Still can't believe he paid over £400 for a Vic20 to be imported from Germany. I'm still waiting for Braben or (not and) Bell to get a big publisher to forward them the cash to develop a new version of Elite.
first game i played was some car game on the sega megadrive and master system, it had a loop in the road and well it was 2d, glory, for grass just a green thing and a grey strip in middle of screen as a road
