My first post was in the hardware section, asking about (surprise surprise) over clocking
When the forums very first started and they didn't look like this one, I'm talking way back when Pete Radford the former owner told me to join up, I was called aardvark.
what!?!?!
Has my whole life been a lie??
I dread to think of the tripe I posted over the years.. Maybe I'll be brave and read my 1st post... How do I do it?
Was it computer related? What did you buy?
Just found it as well, thanks.
Ah the 7870/7950 decision! I remember making a very lengthy decision between a GTX 670 Power Edition Overclocked or AMD 7870, good times... went with the 670 in the end.
I said 'nearly' and it's something OCU doesn't stock.
I've put the review on the web..

I apologise up front if this breaks forums rules, I have read the f.a.q. but can't see what I am doing wrong...
Edit by Spie - No rules broken at all
What was it then you can tell us.
No idea, used to post under a different account ~8 years ago.
I have no idea how to get into any of the accounts I made around that time. The main reason was I changed email account. Teenage me thought it was a good idea to make an email account with 1337 speak in the name.
Didn't really stop to think that I'd forget about the old email and be stuck with no way to password reset, or even remember the usernames of old accounts.
I'm fairly sure I have a gmail account, EA forum account, something awful forum account, two youtube accounts and a facebook account from the same era. All equally lost to time. I used to love forums back in those days, also had over 1k posts on the old EA forums.
What was the account called? the mods can remove it.
That's the thing, I have no idea what the username even was.
It might be possible to find it if there was a forum account that logged in from the same IP as my main-site account, as that seems to have existed since at least 2013.
That said, I wouldn't want to tax the mods with such a random task, assuming it's even possible given what data is stored.
