Your Game of the year 2022?

Vampire Survivors.

Largely because its a great game at a great price, but mainly because it's the only new title I played this year that I actually liked.
 
What a sad year for pc gaming it really is.
First year I have only bought 1 game, which I refunded after 30 minutes (callisto protocol).
Purchased a fair few for ps5 tho.........why am I even caring about gpu prices anymore.

Nothing for me.

Have you played Returnal on the PS5? That was GOY for me last year easily, doubt it will run on the steam deck when it's released on PC otherwise id probably buy it again so I could play on the move.

This years is easily Elden Ring for me.

No but it is on my list of games to play on playstation, I'm becoming a complete console convert now.
 
God of War for me on PC.

Across all platforms either Ragnarok or Forbidden West.

slightly oddball one, it's Dorfromantik

basically it's almost perfect at doing what it set out to do, but it's not a large complex AAA RPG. If pushed for a big AAA title it'd be Elden Ring but it has it's issues

Dorfromantik is excellent, I've put dozens of hours into that since it first started early access. Its a superb chillout game

Me too, in fact I enjoyed it so much I actually bit the bullet and bought a PS3 so I could play the earlier ones. I struggled a bit using a controller but Uncharted 2 'Among Thieves' wins outright for the best game out of the lot.
I also finally get to play Red Dead R one and also 'The last of us' before I put the console back on Ebay

Realising now the potential error with the current timing you set.

If a game gets released on say December 23rd, that's just 7 days for it to be played and added to the list as best game of the year.

For instance, cyberpunk came out 10/12/2020. So a game like would not realistically get high up on the poll, and then be disocunted for the following one.

It could really do with being the start December 2021 to end of November 2022, and then in December 2022 voting starts, though appreciate the poll is just for a bit of fun and curiosity.
