Your graphic card mistakes..

ATi Rage Fury Maxx.

It did not play well with all sort of things, like NT kernel operating systems... So could only use it with Windows ME.

I had that. Yeah it wasnt a great experience. Dual GPU wasnt it?

My mistake was buying a power vr card that worked along side my 2d card.

We tried to make it work...then returned it and dad stumped up the rest to get an orchid rightous 3dfx

I vaguely recall buying an S3 ViRGE back in the day. What we now call graphics cards were called graphics accelerators at the time and that one was derided as a graphics decelerator

Swaping a geforce 2 for a Geforce FX 5200, they had stupidly similar performance, believe the 5200 had a more advanced version of direct X shaders back then but that was pretty much it, ended up upgrading later that same year for a ATI 9800 and it was night and day difference.

You had a Geforce 2 MX I'm guessing?
