Your most disturbing movie scene?

Out of all the sick films I've seen, I have to admit that I really genuinely did find the appartment scene in "Running Scared" disturbing. It just seemed so possible, if you understand what I mean.

Apart from that, the only thing that springs to mind is the bit in Event Horizon where they are listening to those audio recordings, although I was very young when I first watched that

Generally i am not scared of horror or disturbing movies, watched Aliens when i was 6/7 and loved it.

Has to be when I saw Who Framed Roger Rabbit? at the cinema aged eight. Watching Judge Doom go under the steam roller was pretty horrific, as was the change in his character afterwards; oh god, the eyes...

A year later I watched the director's cut of Robocop and melty acid man moaning 'Help me!' became my new nightmare.

Needle pit in SAW II - not the grossest scene ive seen by far, but i have a *slight* fear of needles and i could feel every single one of them and they hurt! they hurt a lot!

I had the R3 version from Hong Kong, was uncut.

For me it has to be one of a few scenes from the film 'Scum'. Either the rape scene, the scene where someone (Can't remember the name of the character) slits his wrists in his cell, or one of the last scenes where the three main characters get beaten crapless and dragged back into their cells. (You don't actually see them get beaten in the scene, only dragged back into their cells.)

None of these scenes are tremendously graphic, it's just the atmosphere in each of them, it's so brutally realistic.

b) Puts someone's head in a vice
c) Gets done over himself (buried alive with his dead brother.)

Either that or the bit out of the Neverending story where the kid gets attacked by a wolf/tiger (can't remember) and his horse gets sucked into a swamp.
