• Competitor rules

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. Your thoughts please... 680 SLI and Surround or wait for GK110

Same problems here. The annoying this is you can't set a profile to switch so if you go back to separate resolutions on each and run extended desktop, you have to re-do the Bezel correction.

Which reminds me - I need to get Cleeecooo's attention. Rumour has it, he's a master on this subject!

:)

I'm afraid I couldn't find anything on this and I just had to keep manually switching. It was ****ing annoying. I'll have a play around when I do my next build wih 570 SLI and 3 monitors and let you know.

Try 'Start button' and 'P'

Works with AMD :p

Crappy nvidia drivers :p
(Joke)

It's true though. If AMD allow you to do it properly then nVidia should implement something similar. There's 3 users on this forum alone in this thread who want it... scale it up across all Surround users? Probably a lot of them are similar.

Edit: Now 4 users! :)

This is one reson I hated 3 screens and I couldnt use them for games either so they had to go.

But ultramon was the closest I got to making desktop mode useable :o

At least with pro ultramon you can set up maximisation regions on the screen... so that'll be something at least - i'll have a play with that later

Just noticed something else - the IR emitter connection to the screen for 3d vision... if I want 3d on all three screens - do I need 3x 3D vision kits!?!?!

I'm sure that's a no - but it looks like it :S

3d vision emitter plugs into the pc via usb. It's just to sync the glasses with the screens.

I'm 99% sure you don't. One kit should work for all the screens.

there's a ps/2 cable? 0_0?

I don't remember having one, lol

Do you have the 3dvision 2 kit?

edit: just found the ps/2 connection in the box. I can't remember what its for.

ah, nvidia site says:

VESA Stereo Cable Port For use with DLP HDTVs and Quadro GPUs only

No, you don't need 3 kits.
Plug emitter into PC not the screens
Setup surround as normal then activate 3D in control panel and follow instructions-

anything else i can help with :)
