Didn't realise it had been pulled from the app store. Glad I downloaded it when I had the chance now :D

My must have apps are:

Remote (control itunes on your PC/MAC)
iRibbit (best ebay app in UK app store)
Movies
Intelliremote (controls my PC TV/movies etc)
Balance (keep tabs on how much u spend/work to budget)
BeejiveIM (not released yet as a app)

Games:
Monkeyball (good fun but really difficult to control)
newtonica - (nice looking and unique, but become pointless after a minute or 2)
Brain Challenge - (excellent!!!)
Air Hockey - ( its ok and also 2 player!)
Soduku - (not had much time to get into it yet)
Labyrinth - (great game until u get to the insanely difficult levels lol)
Koi Pond - (great for keeping my 3 year old happy)
BubbleWrap - (as above)

Have loads more apps but not really worth mentioning except 'Air Sharing' (have it but not used it yet) which I think will be really usefull in the future. You should all grab it while its still free!!

Galcon is absolutely fantastic!

I'd also recommend Apple's Texas Hold 'Em. Excellent game, superb presentation.

Edit: Oh, and AquaForest is you like sand-boxy, physics toys.

Orsome TVGuide is also good, and now has lots of UK channels.

Remote doesn't do anything on my Touch 1G. It displays the pin code which I type into iTunes and then hangs for a bit and then doesn't do anything.

X-plane 9 is another great app for the iphone!

I posted a review of X-Plane

I'm an avid flight simmer and I've bought all versions of X-Plane from 5 upwards and have met Austin at the AVSIM conference in Reading a few years ago so I really had to buy X-Plane 9 for my iPod Touch.

It works, the control system is excellent but I can't help feeling that it needs more. Innsbruck is a favourite airport to fly tricky approaches but to have this app limited to such a small area is a waste really. There's not much that one can do in such a limited space and it's already lost the appeal. It's great to use to demo the iPhone/iPod Touch but once you've flown it for a few minutes it has no more use. My friends were asking how to fire the guns and where the enemy planes were!

I'd like to think that a few more airports can be added and perhaps another scenery area or two along with some basic navigation aids and then it will be a lot more enjoyable to be able to fly from one location to another.

At the moment it's £6 for about 15 minutes of entertainment. Please Austin, add more :)

I gave it three stars for potential.
