At my business physical location, about 9-10hrs Mon - Thurs, Fri and Sat vary. However, having a business open 24/7 it really is much more than that.

generally 9-10 hours (but thats because my job is my hobby i get paid for :p)

Although a few weeks ago I did just over 70 hours and then a one off day of 19 hours.

But I am always thinking about code just can't get enough of it.

i typically work 4 hours monday, 7 hours tues/wed/thurs, 4 hours friday. thats quite a high estimate!

however i often work away which means technically working 24hours, or sure feels like it!!

I'm more interested in delivery than number of hours worked. If someone can deliver quality and quantity of output for a salary / day rate that I deem fair for what they are producing then I don't actually really care how long they spend at their desk. Normalising at 5 hours productive time though is good for team morale.

I've spent too long in organisations where the last hour is spent looking like you are putting in extra hours. Life is far too short for that.

Its a good attitude to have I think, people will feel more like a valued individual rather than just another employee number which as a gross generalisation tends to result in people producing a better quality work.

12+ most days. I run a business with a friend and we deal with clients worldwide so long hours are a must really because of the time differences. Today I started at 8.30am and I finished around 9pm, I don't really take any breaks. I thoroughly enjoy my work but I do completely switch off over the weekend.

Ive probably mis-understood the question, ive gone for 7-8... because I work a 37hour week, so over 5 days thats 7.4h average, but in reality i work 12h20min 3 days a week.

8:30 - 5:30 Mon-Fri
9:00 - 5:00 Sat

Lunch breaks, vary, I sometimes do not have one, or if I do, it isn't that long! I prefer smaller breaks throughout the day.

12 hours a day, stretching to 13 as I dont have lunch, come in 10mins early and hand-over takes a while.
