That's the thing I miss most about working on the continent!

The French do like their lunch, especially in Aberdeen :D. Probably doesn't come as a surprise, but I very much like it. It's good to get away from your desk at lunchtime and socialise with your work colleagues.

I do 6-7 a day sometimes 8 if I'm asked to do something.

If job is done and nothing to do we can go home.

Paid 44 hours a week if I do less than 44. Anything over that is overtime.

9.30 - 17.30 take away 1hr lunch and i've got 6-7 or 7-8 lol :) most of the time its 7-8 as i stay over a little if i need to finish something off.

I work 8-4 every day with an hour lunch which I sometimes don't take. Sometimes leave early on a Friday but that's only if we've cleared all the work.

It depends. Most of my shifts are 8 and a half hours long, if you include breaks in the time, but due to the way my 4 week rotation is set up I do have a few 11 hour shifts (which I'm doing today in fact) and a couple of 10 hour ones.

if i work 8 hours do i put "7-8" or "8-9"? surely the options should have been

7, 8, 9,.. etc instead of 7-8? :s

I do whatever it takes to get the job done and claim the overtime.

I have no fixed start and finish times, no fixed break times, long as i work / am in work 38 hours or more a week i'm free to do whatever i want.

last week i worked 70hours and took my work home and didn't have a weekend, week before i worked 38hours.

7 usually but being in a corporate IT group of 10 people looking after 50 UK offices dotted around the place in emergency circumstances (Act of god, Act of Man, Act of Id10t) this number can depending on the severity of the disaster rise exponentially!
