Very flexible, e.g. today I told my boss that I fancy going to watch a film during my lunch break and make up the extra time at the end of the day, all my boss said was "yeah sure, enjoy it!"

Technically I'm supposed to log 7.5 hours each day on my timesheet.

However, this week has been closer to 12 and that doesn't include the hour commute each way…

Usually start around 3-5am finish 5:30pm. 5 days a week

Then maybe 3-4 hours at weekend

On average, 70hrs.... been doing this rate for 3 years.

The joys of being PAYE and Self Employed... and explains my hate of spongers who watch daytime tv all day while I get taxed to hell and back

7.5 hours a day, flexi-time.

Core hours are 10-4, normally I do 8-4 with a 30 minute lunch. However when i'm out at a site I tend to do 10+ hour days to get the work done, but then we get that time back in lieu so I book a couple of paid days off to recover. :D

Worst week this year was out at site though, did about 65 hours that week.

Ouch. But kudos for keeping at it. :)

7.5 hours a day (generally) sometimes longer sometimes less. But contractually I am required to do 37.5hours a week.

I am also on call sometimes too. So that can rack up more hours.

I'm a student.

But when I work in the summer I do 8 - 4.30, with a half lunch not paid for so 40 hour weeks plus overtime sometimes.

Worst I've done this year is 76 hours and that was horrendous, but 90?! Insane!!

It was not that infrequent when I used to go into work Monday 5.30am and work til Wednesday morning 9am-ish go home grab a few hours kip and work Wednesday 8pm-ish to Friday 8pm-ish

Go home have a bit more rest then work 8-10 hour days on Saturday and Sunday.

My record for a week was 139 hours. It was insane but I loved it at the time.

easily 12 hours a day, usually 7 days a week.

but I'm self employed, charging by the hour, and working from home.

Having just done my accounts for the last financial year, I was distressed to see I had had nearly 14 days off! Must be getting lazy.

What do you do?

What do you do?

I used to be a warehouse manager in two very large companies.

Both had me working extraordinary long shifts but I liked it.

I could have probably got away with working far less. Maybe 70-80 hours but I really enjoyed the jobs as there was always some emergency or catastrophe to sort out or deal with.

Like broken down lorries or lorries not returning on time to be reloaded or emergency deliveries for shows and stuff.
