I've got a number of games that I've not got round to finishing or putting in as much time as I should, it's more that they are not captivating me enough to desperately want to play them, but I don't think that makes them bad.
One which I haven't put too much time into yet, but I'd probably say my candidate for worst game of the year, would be Dead Island.
The trailer was fantastic, obviously it was pre-rendered, but given how much fun the Left 4 Dead games have been, a newcomer Zombie title, set on a huge island seemed like a winner.
The reality though is a miss-mash of other games which looks like it was rushed to the market, this was evident in limited edition content which wasn't ready, plus one of the first quests you come across in the game being broken.
There may be a lot to do, but I'm finding it boring, I've not got much drive to want to play it.
Zero Punctuation summed it up pretty well:

Battlefield 3, CoD clone nowadays but not as much fun.
I'd agree with that, if it wasn't for Driver: SA. Mind, I found LA Noire quite good at times, but there wasn't enough extra action, and i'd have liked a more ''80's cop style'' than a 40's one. Bit too distant.
Driver: SA was a very short, barely thought out, shallow, little action, waste of my £40, pile of ****.
