YouTube Premium

Yep I had this issue with Starling and Monzo, payments are approved but for some reason Google always popped up with an error. No issues with Revolut though.
I went with Argentina in the end. £2.20 a month is good enough for the wife.

Went through Starling just fine over tunnelbear vpn. A shame tunnelbear doesn't do Turkey or India.

Had to go through a PC browser as wouldn't work on the phone apps.

Yes found it there as you said.

Trying to pay via starling however payment just doesn't go through. Any ideas?

Gets me to verify payment via starling app which I agree to on app. Then payment doesn't go any further...

Could be the VPN. Worked for me using VPN unlimited and Revolut virtual card on an incognito tab on PC.

My starling wouldn't work when I tried to update the payment last month due to new card been issued , so I added the card anyway even tho I got an error at the time . Payment was due on thuesday and it went thru ok

With the family plan it says members have to be aged 13+. What will happen with my kids accounts since they're both younger. Will they get any benifits, add free youtube etc?

I've had premium for about 18 months now, following a post on hot UK deals. Went through a VPN to purchase from India and it still costs me £1.49/month so can't complain :D

I'm not sure what checks Google do, but at the time it didn't matter that I was in the UK with a Uk credit card, even when I needed to update my account with my new card details a few months ago it all went through fine still.

I do use Vanced though. Even with a paid sub, YouTube creators like to promote stuff that doesn't interest me, and Vanced does a pretty good job of skipping those promo parts out.

My account has other things associated with my UK address like Nest products. Will this prevent me taking advantage? I don't want multiple accounts for different Google products if I can help it.

Also could I buy a year through a VPN then 'move' back to the UK to make all the recommendations local?

My youtube bookmark is to my subscriptions page. Never the home page. I have the premium via the indian trick and never see any indian content.

My credit card expired and when I tried to add a new one (trying several) they all got declined so I decided to leave India and emigrate to Argentina

I popped to India and picked up some YT premium, several years ago. No issues using the same account with Nest.
