YouTube Premium

I just renewed mine ( single user ) via Turkey using a VPN only for sign up . Costs £1.60 a month using Revolut .I was ready to input a native address similar to when I signed up via India in the past but it never asked this time, U K only addresses for me.

Should point out I used a virtual card this time, maybe that's why I didn't require an address.

I get the impression that Google is sick of Youtube not paying for itself or giving them a return so its either ads or Premium for folks now. I can relate to it, its never made any real profit since it was created, all things must balance out at some point surely if being fair.

My account has other things associated with my UK address like Nest products. Will this prevent me taking advantage? I don't want multiple accounts for different Google products if I can help it.

Also could I buy a year through a VPN then 'move' back to the UK to make all the recommendations local?

TBH i do watch YouTube on my tv through a now tv stick, tend to get two short adverts then nothing for the next ten or so ,the itv player on the tv is unwatchable with a ridiculous amount of adverts (i don't have a recording device where i can skip)

We can't watch ITV Hub, it add 25% adverts, it was mark a 90 minute program as 120 minutes, **** **** that, you're just taking the **** now. I just buy the eps on Amazon for £2 or less, I'd rather enjoy the program than have 30 minutes of adverts wasting my time.

I am sure there was some text that said more plans/options. It is where you could choose the student plan too (which I assume you need ID/correct edu email).
Yes found it there as you said.

Trying to pay via starling however payment just doesn't go through. Any ideas?

Gets me to verify payment via starling app which I agree to on app. Then payment doesn't go any further...
