It should be okay in the UK. I actually tried to share my family account with a real family member *gasp* a few years ago, but they live in America and they wouldn't let me do it. So I guess family doesn't transcend borders

If anyone works in a university/school and wants to chance their arm, you can use the .ac.uk email address to sign up for youtube premium for students. £8 a month or somthing but all legit and no fear of the dreaded nerfed email again.

Yeah my Mumbai residency is finally coming to an end. Received my email last night as well.

I can’t be dealing with moving to another country and it being a rinse and repeat.

In an ideal world would I like to continue paying a reduced price? Of course. But this day was always coming so I’ll just suck it up and say I had an amazing run of it and it’s a UK sub going forward.

I love the service and how much I use it £5 a week is perfectly fine in my eyes.

Someone's posted above saying they share there family plan across the UK so I'm hopeful that it works and at the end of the day it's only £3.33 per month.

It's against their TOS, but I've ran an indian family plan with 2 family members who live in wales and birmingham respectively (I live in the south west), and that's ran fine for 5 years without much issue.
