I already have premium so it is just showing me a "YOU HAVE PREMIUM" screen when I click that.

If you no longer have premium running, it'll appear as a student option.
 
Thought I'd got evicted from Romania this morning, but it's just a price increase.

"To continue delivering great service and features, we’re increasing your price to RON 29.00/month."

Makes it around £4.80, so still acceptable for the time being
 
Just started paying the full price of 11.99 euros in Spain a few months ago.

Got an email yesterday saying it's going up to 13.99! Still less than the netflix it replaced but greedy, nonetheless!

Thought my luck had run out when I got an email this morning. But it was a notification that mine is going up to 79.99 Turkish Lira/month

I'm expecting the other email next month :(
 
Been Paying for youtube premium via VPN turkey but its just been Canned gutted, will be reading back on posts if there is other ways a its working :)

Long story short, either pay for it via an Apple account & gift vouchers, or join a family plan with someone else.

Sounds like they are starting to take YT Music/Premium seriously in terms of a revenue generator.

Netflix cracked down, got more users and revenue, D+ the same. YouTube must be seeing more signups to be cracking down on VPN accounts and legacy cheap subscriptions.

Tempted to offer 2 friends the other slots on my youtube premium family plan to help recoup the costs, only thing i was wondering is will this give them access to my family shared calendar or is there a way to turn that off?

everything is separate.

All they get is shared storage space (google one) if you pay for that you have to block them from backing up to it. It will use that space before their own
 
I finally after years got the email that I need a Turkish address payment card. Do any countries have an annual family pass for reasonable cost.
 
I don’t think any countries offer an annual pass for family. Just individual.
 
ah no probs thanks. Think with my billing I have one more months sub to take me to before Christmas and then will see where I can find to sub from.
 
Just signed up for family plan with Nord VPN in Algeria cost me £9.02. so just under half then the UK price not sure how long it will last thou
