I also had issues with my payment going through India just now. Last month, there was an issue, but it somehow managed to make a payment. This month something had changed as nothing worked.

Anyway, I've now moved to Turkey and it was surprisingly easy. I used Windscribe set to Turkey, refreshed the page and subscribed at the new price. The Family package is slightly more expensive in Turkey vs India, but at less than a £1 difference, it's nothing to worry about! :D

For me YT music was almost as good as spotify, nothing about Spotify made it worth keeping the sub at their price.
Two problems with YTMusic:

1) You can't select multiple tracks to move them around / remove them, because they don't have a legit Windows app, just a web interface.
2) If you add a track to a playlist, it won't detect if it's a duplicate or not. Tidal and Spotify do this, so I've got a Tidal account for playlist management, and I still use YTMusic because their algorithm is better for playing music I like.

You can select multiple tracks and do a few things including remove, as seen here - granted you can't move them but 99% of my music listening is randomized unless listening to an album, so for me individually, it's not a problem.

Interesting, just tried to add a song that existed in a playlist and got this...does it on any playlist with the song already in it so no dupes.

This only works for very specific versions of the song, I’ve found. I’ve never been able to trigger a “duplicate” message up till now, and tried yesterday and still got a dupe because the song was deemed to be a different release because the first time it was added it was the single, and the second time it was linked to the album. Exact same song with exact same length though, just that between adding those songs to the playlist, they both appeared at the top of search results at different times.

What are you using for multiple selection? I’ve been using opera’s extension. Is that a chrome one?

This is a good point, also as a lot of the youtube music will pull custom uploads from the main youtube site so there may be variations in length.

That's the windows desktop install - it's probably a variation on a chrome browser though.

Nothing of note to add but you've selected 3 of my favourite songs there.

Ah ha! Found it! You have to go to the far-right of the song and find the check box, then you can select multiples anywhere on the row. If you don't do that, you can't.

You can select multiple On Spotify, Tidal et al, you can just select multiple songs by clicking anywhere on a song's row in the result list :)

Just renewed my premium for 29.99 Turkish Lira a month. Works out about £1.29, much better than then £11.99 I was paying! As above used Windscribe and it worked first time. Thanks :)
