YouTube Premium

Does anyone do Spotify proxy?

i'm paying 199sek for a swedish family account
a turkish one is about $2 .... 10% of the cost... fml.

i share with 4 other friends/family and obviously we dont live together.
Spotify is monthly charge, i assume they are gonna have constant ways of verifying all our Ips are in turkish :p

It seems like this might be a very uphill struggle, might work for a month or 2 but then just go dead very fast.?
No.. I don't really see the point of Spotify. YT Music is actually really decent.

Ive ran 2 spotify accounts from Philippines since 2019, absolutely no issue once setup and no one is using vpns or anything. May change at any time though.

With spotify do you have to use the VPN's when connected?

I have youtube music which is really good but my Garmin forerunner isn't compatible so I also have a spotify sub for music while i'm walking/running.

thanks @tom_e i was reading A2Z's quote of Efours post, hadn't noticed the new one.

I've done a quick google and a few results suggest that as soon as it notices you're accessing from an IP that isn't your billing countries IP, it doesnt work.

I don't pay for youtube premium because I am cheapskate....but....

Made the mistake of searching youtube for ukraine war (because I have sod all else to do tonight)

Now it is plastering me with some of the most creepiest adds ever

Bah - they seemed to have updated the website and app so no longer can you report the ad to skip them! Need to look at premium, what VPN did everyone use for Ukraine? And out of interest what payment card did you use? revo/monzo etc.

Edit: That was easy, Ukraine VPN and payment went through (Starling).

The adds on twitch interrupt and are random and that's real irritating. If I watched a lot of that I'd probably pay.

The youtube ones are all at the start so I can put up with that when the alternative is paying £12.99 per month that's a joke!

Add blockers used to get around the youtube adds, I hope someone makes a new one that works.

Yeah im taking yearly subs because im worried a monthly will be declined soon. I use a free revolut account for payment attached to google pay.
Everyone's trying to clampdown on VPN shenanigans and shared passwords so i figured a year is the longest one off payment i could do...
