YouTube Premium

Put 'Aphex Twin – Printworks, London' video on today, which I've watched a few times before and noticed the quality was poor. Checked the settings but it was set correctly at 1080p...then notice another setting, 1080p Premium. The ******* have lowered the quality of the previously fine 1080p.

My YT premium via Turkey was very cheap this month, they only charged me 88p :D

When I set it up last year I just used a chrome vpn extension, switched to Turkey, went to the payment page and switched the vpn off. Had to do that because it would refuse any of my cards (debit/credit). Once off my card was charged immediately without issues and still got charged the foreign price.

Any issues with UK cards just switch off the vpn at checkout but don't refresh the page, but make sure the page still displays the foreign currency.

The Turkish Lira must be getting a stomping!

Interesting to see what my Netflix bill will be soon.

It dropped 30% in the last month against the £ from the start of June.

(This is as a result of their central bank not raising interest rates for a couple of years! And then even though they did raised it, it was not enough as the market expected more on the way...so it dropped further.)

Ukraine is your best bet, cost like 2.5x as much but it's still 1/5th of UK.

Does anyone do Spotify proxy?

i'm paying 199sek for a swedish family account
a turkish one is about $2 .... 10% of the cost... fml.

i share with 4 other friends/family and obviously we dont live together.
Spotify is monthly charge, i assume they are gonna have constant ways of verifying all our Ips are in turkish :P

It seems like this might be a very uphill struggle, might work for a month or 2 but then just go dead very fast.?
