YouTube Premium

Adblock works 100 percent all the time ,ziltch zero ads.
Any other advantages to premium? not interested in offline downloads but I would be interested in better audio for instance as I use a usb DAC.

I think it comes down to how you consume YouTube content. I watch it on a lot of devices which don't support adblockers (iOS, AppleTV, Sky Q Boxes and a LG TV) but paying the £1.11 a month is totally worth it. I also like the little premium feature which lets you continue a video on another device. Nothing revolutionary but I can't go back to regular YouTube.

Tidal has just started ensuring only credit cards registered in Argentina can be billed for Argentinian tidal subs. Wonder what the next best is…

This come with any sauce? I've got Tidal via argentina and all they said to me was that they were billing me wrong and they're tripling my subscription.

From $149 to $589!

That's almost TWO FINEST ENGLISH QUIDS!

One benefit is the ability to watch / listen to youtube without screen on, which is ideal for music obviously, not movies lol :p

I do run an ad blocker so blocking it from the PC alone is no issue and have done since YT started doing ads, problem is I use YT on the iPhone, iPad and Apple TV so don't have much choice. But as it only costs me under £1 a month for now I'm more than happy to pay that while it lasts.

There is this: https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money...nomic-collapse-annual-inflation-hits-113.html

Argentina is locked in an economic collapse that could see the far-right return to power under Javier Milei, a rock-singing former sex coach who has threatened to abolish the central bank.

Annual inflation in Argentina is at 113 per cent, its highest in more than 30 years. It has pushed 40 per cent of the population into poverty as soaring prices outstrip wages.

The crisis escalated last week when the central bank raised interest rates to 118 per cent from 97 per cent to halt a sell-off in government bonds and the Argentine peso, which hit a record low against the dollar.

Inflation forced officials to devalue the peso by 18 per cent on Monday, which some economists expect to fuel inflation further, possibly sending it to 150 per cent.

I had to get YouTube premium because I use it a lot on TV plus ipad and iPhone. There may be work arounds but paying works out for me (especially after seeing this thread)

I just wish there was a workaround for Twitch, 11.99 is joke for ad-free viewing on there.

If you watch it on the PC and use then this addon called AdGuard Extra seems to block Twitch ads for me, there's no UI its just an addon for any other ad blockers.

Supports Firefox as well but it seems that it has to be installed manually on that browser.
