I didnt watch that cat video cos I dont like depressing myself, however my cat at my Ex's house tangled its collar on a fence a few weeks back and it twisted and the cat basically hung itself to death. My other cat that went with it was supposedly trying to get him down from the neighbours fence.

pretty sad stuff, people hate cats but I love em, they arent dumb animals by any means.

A similar thing happened with our cat when we first got her. She'd tried to squeeze under a gap in the fence, but got her collar snagged on a protruding nailhead. Panicing, she started pulling frantically and was drawing it tighter around her neck. Luckily I was washing dishes at the kitchensink at the time, and happened to notice her struggling and was able to go and pull her out before she strangled herself (and got bit for the trouble, ingrate little bugger! :mad:). Since then we won't put a collar on her, we just have her chipped instead.
