I didnt watch that cat video cos I dont like depressing myself, however my cat at my Ex's house tangled its collar on a fence a few weeks back and it twisted and the cat basically hung itself to death. My other cat that went with it was supposedly trying to get him down from the neighbours fence.

pretty sad stuff, people hate cats but I love em, they arent dumb animals by any means.

Specifically the reason why cats should not wear collars
 
This is 4 optical theremins with a torch over each one on a piece of string, the torches are then dropped from the sides so they swing like a pendulum over the optical thermins and trigger them. This is a piece based on one by Steve Reich who used microphones swinging over amps. This was part of "Theremin Day" which was an event held at my local Hackerspace, fizzPOP here in Birmingham.

 
I have some really hardcore christian friends (and I'm an Athiest myself) I'd love to show that vid to them, it pretty much sums up what I think. Trouble is, my christan friends are so well read on the subject they won't listen unless I quote a large number of authors and even then they refute claims to the death.
