Humberside Police have said it's not their officers. The provenance of this video is a bit curious too, it seems to have first started doing the rounds courtesy of an American journalist who failed to do any research and erroneously linked it to Humberside.

According to a few press stories West Midlands police seem to have indicated it was them. It doesn’t look good to be fair, the guy hitting the suspect on the head and spraying his colleagues in the process looks like a complete numpty.
