Asus board look like a good clocker board! I avoid Gigabyte myself for some reason: poor cold boot issues, no GPU on board support, poor USB3.0 not recognising on bootup
I'm tempted by the ud5 but after the treatment I got with the asrock extreme7 I don't think I'll be risking it.
What are the issues with the ASRock board? I was considering it over an MSI one linked a few posts above.
look in the motherboard section for a list of issues ontop of the possibility of it arriving with bent/missing pins(which according to the rma guy is a lie created by the buyers to get their money back/replacement board, and can only have been caused by mistreatment on the buyers part).
tho I'm sure the bent pin issue can happen with the other brands(I read in my googling that the bent in issue is a common one with the skt1155 boards) as well but the responce will be the same.
LOL - GET OVER IT DUDE!
Feature and specs wise the ASRock Extreme 4 Gen 3 is unbeatable for its price. For overclocking the built in profiles are easy enough to use - just don't expect to get 'extreme' overclocking levels like 5Ghz on a 2700k though! (You won't get that on any of the other boards here either - need to spend £300+ to get them sort of clocks).
Theres many a happy ASRock user - don't let one guys whining about poor service / results put you off lol

oh and just hope the board doesn't arrive with any bent pins, otherwise
Damn I missed it. Any chance of doing some similar deals any soon?
