Z68 BLOWOUT! VERY LIMITED DEALS!

I'll take a look tonight then..maybe even place the order :O
dont forget about the no VAT offer going for the MSI :)

speaking of that, the MSI deal is making the gigabyte Z68 UD5 and Asus P8Z68-V deal slightly less awesome, because the cheaper MSI GD55 is better than them as far as i can tell

the other gigabyte mobo and the asrock however are definitely good deals and will be recommended a lot :)

The Extreme4 is a popular board. That and the MSI I showed you have almost identical features:

MSI GD55
AS Rock Extreme4

Either of them would be awesome in your rig. I'll let you decide. There isn't a bad choice.

The Extreme4 is a popular board but over hyped as i have it but will only clock my cpu to 4.4 where as the Asus overclocked my cpu to 4.9 so me thinks the Asus is better.

well I guess more initiates to the 'asrock headach club' ;)

oh and just hope the board doesn't arrive with any bent pins, otherwise you'll be £170 out of pocket(£136 to buy plus the cost of returning it to ocuk and the cost of the rejected rma), plus if my recent experience is anything to go by the chance of being called a liar if you call up to argue that you didn't cause the bent pin/s(I'm suprised other companies haven't used such cs techniques ;) ). you will than have to resort to sending it to asrock(if you want to have the board fixed) which will be another £35 so over £200 spent on a board that shouldn't cost more than £140. I had this on the extreme7 which thus far has cost me £245 and will end up costing me £280/£290 if I send to asrock, wish I hadn't been sucked into the special pre-order price £210(will end up costing me similar to the asus maximus iv extreme/gigabyte g1 sniper 2).

and unless I'm mistaken the ud5 was £150 NOT £190 just the other day, guess the 'was £150' wouldn't make it look as good a deal ;)

Well that makes me feel reassured! I may cancel my order now!

Yes, I almost did order on UD5, but I wasn't to sure about the CPU pin so I cancelled my order.

gigabyte are uk based so its much cheaper to sort out the rma with them(delievry costs will be less than sending to the netherlands as in the case of asrock), I was talking about asrock extreme4 gen3 cosing you £170 if you end up getting a board with bent pin/s

with the ud5 if you did end up getting the board with bent pin/s might be worth contacting gigabyte directly rather than ocuk as it'll be cheaper to get a replacement through gigabyte as ocuk will reject the rma(even if you dsr it I'm sure). as sending to ocuk will incure the £21 test+return charge + whatever it cost you to post it back to them in the first place

 OH MY GOD stonking price for the UD5!

Aah, damn it I've not got an atx compatible case. If I was buying now, I'd snap that up without a second thought.
