Hey folks!
So im caught up in the debate at the moment regarding the 'Zero' drinks vs Standard sugar drinks...
Personally, I only drink I would say around 3 cans of fizzy drink a week, a sprite or a coca cola.
Never diet or max or zero, just the usual original variety.
My colleague sings the praises of 'Zero' drinks ala Coke Zero, Sprite Zero etc, claiming as they have no sugar they are fine to drink (in his case, by the bucketload).
I know they contain aspartame, which, if you are led to believe, is dangerous.
The problem is, nearly most things seem to contain that now! Even sugar free, or low sugar ribena has it in!
Then you have sweeteners for tea/coffee, which if they don't contain aspartame, use sucralose instead, again, if you are led to believe, can also be dangerous.
What is the general non-tin-hat consencus regarding these drinks/sweeteners?
