We've managed to come up with a solution to the administrative problem of getting mails to me.

I wouldn't say that that was bad at all. Zoltan was happy that people even had the thought to consider such and idea, let alone go through with it. :)

It would be nice to donate a little bit of the money to cancer research too, I lost my dad to cancer nearly 2 years ago now. :(

My point was, there were lots of people that said they'd put in in the initial thread, and not even half of those have surfaced now there's a collection taking place. It was the amount of people, not the running total, I was meaning by not doing very well.

I've only just seen these last few posts, couldn't get on here much last night :( I've just got a nice lump sum transferred to my bank account from the insurance company, so when it clears on the 14th, I'll happily donate whatever I can.

No worries. It would be amazing if even half the regulars on the board donated a couple of quid...

Well done for organising this to everybody has been involved (Gilly etc) and also praise to everybody that has even donated a tiny bit. :)

exactly even a couple of bob would help out , there's nothing worse than someone saying they'll put something in then they dont, rather them say nothing at all

This is realy sad news. It reminds me of a mate i lost over a year ago to cancer, he was only 17 and died 2 weeks befor christmas. We let his family come over for christmas dinner, but we made sure it was a nice and happy day for them.

Befor he died i went over to upgrade his pc, and give him some of my old games, that was the last time i saw him :( .


Zoltan, you gave me some good advice on the motors forum and your surjestions helped me purchace and set up an audio system for my car. Im not well off but i would gladly give £10 towards your fund.
