ok, why does my paypal account take about 2 weeks to send funds? is this normal?
i sent my money a while ago, think about 6 days, and its still not cleared, says it should be 20th.

should i upload say £100 into my paypal account and use it straight from there?
or do most people just do it straight from their bank account?

Ah, that'll be it.
You're doing a bank transfer but using Paypal to do it, so instead of using a direct transfer method, it being free and only taking 4 days, you're using Paypal, which as you noted takes 2 weeks or more and costs money...

lol, nationwide is a pain in the <expletive deleted> at transfers, so unless somebody can tell me how to transfer to other banks its gonna have to be paypal...
the only way i found of doing it in nationwide is by BACS (iirc) and that costs £23 per transaction

The vast majority of people actually wanted to get you something. In the beginning we were going to simply set up a charity donation link, but that was deemed too impersonal.

Just gonna run off and set up a paypal account to send some money. As many have said he's very brave.
Was browsing through the rogues gallery and there a cheerful picture of zoltan on there.
Made me deterimed to send some money cause he looks so young, guess seeing the brave man himself and putting a face to the story makes the story more real.
