As for being stripped of YOUR pride and YOUR self respect, other people can show you they have no respect for you, and don't care for you, self respect is rather self explaining, other people can't strip your self respect, or pride. You learnt, maybe, that she had no respect for you, I learnt you never had any pride of self respect, pride because you wear a neckless and self respect because you didn't get any answers from the person you were right there with, but complained on a forum about it.

Then walk back past them say good morning while patting her mum on the shoulder, then proceed to walk to the living room stop on the way to scratch your arse, flop down on the settee grab the remote and stick football focus on. Then shout to the bird to make you a cuppa.

I would have been annoyed at my mum for letting herself in tbh. If you she knows your there and not opening the door there must be a reason, so why come in?
