@Gibbo do you think the stock levels will improve and prices will lower a little for the 4090's in early 2023?

Demand on 4090 is very strong, if pound holds/improves I can forsee AIB cards hitting £1500-£1600 region for entry level AIB models, but cannot see them going any lower than that unless NVIDIA made an official USD price cut but I doubt they would in short term, but come Easter next year who knows how demand and supply will be.

Thanks for the feedback @Gibbo I do really appreciate it. Do you think the KFA2 is a good card for the money vs its peers? :)

Just hope it will be here before Christmas and be good enough :D also regarding the value against other AIBS, only downside I see is shorter warranty, but other than that it looks solid choice for the money, you can check previous gen Galax/KFA2 cards, cant see too many complains.

Yeah, shorter warranty plus the warranty does not extend to people who are not the "original" purchasers so if you sell it before 2 years then the person who busy it gets no warranty.

The OCUK price is really good and one of the cheapest prices outside of the USA, so I recommend people go for that. :)

Hi all I have a 4090 Galax/KFA2 on pre order. After careful consideration I think I will put it under water so I'm wondering if there are any water blocks for it yet?
Alphacool have one available now and it support the KFA2 amongst others.

Compatibility:
- Nvidia Geforce RTX 4090 Reference Design
- INNO3D GeForce RTX 4090 X3 OC, 24GB GDDR6X, HDMI, 3x DP (N40903-246XX-18332989)
- INNO3D GeForce RTX 4090 iCHILL X3, 24GB GDDR6X, HDMI, 3x DP (C40903-246XX-1833VA47)
- INNO3D GeForce RTX 4090 iCHILL Frostbite, 24GB GDDR6X, HDMI, 3x DP (C4090-246XX-1833FB)
- INNO3D GeForce RTX 4090 iCHILL Black, 24GB GDDR6X, HDMI, 3x DP (C4090-246XX-18330005)
- PNY GeForce RTX 4090 XLR8 Gaming Verto Epic-X RGB Overclocked Triple Fan, 24GB GDDR6X, HDMI, 3x DP (VCG409024TFXXPB1-O) (*)
- PNY GeForce RTX 4090 XLR8 Gaming Verto Epic-X RGB Triple Fan, 24GB GDDR6X, HDMI, 3x DP (VCG409024TFXXPB1) (*)
- KFA2 GeForce RTX 4090 SG (1-Click OC), 24GB GDDR6X, HDMI, 3x DP (49NXM5MD6DSK)
(* The cooler is compatible with the GPU, but the rear part of the PCB is not covered. This has no negative effect on the cooling performance!)

Thankyou for that. I did find this one last night and wrote the model number down for refrence.
After careful consideration? The card is quiet under load, why would you need a water block for it?
I would prefer custom cooling than aio coolers and its the size of the thing that can be a issue so reducing the size of it will help.
Also have you seen the rgb support stick

Then why did you ask if there were any water blocks without mentioning the one you were already aware of? :p

Fair enough, but it's definitely not anything that needs to be done to these cards to keep them running cool and quiet.

I asked on here yesterday then carried on looking for more information about my build and found it a few hours after the fact.
I just remember ocuk forum was a good place to get the info on the latest hardware and software.

Got an order in earlier for an Asus TUF OC ( ST5190544 ) while it was in stock and saw the status changed to pre-order. Is there any way to tell if I am on the pre-order queue or if I was able to nab one?

Edit: Seems like they're marked as in stock again

Were getting 4090 shipments now on a weekly basis and hence why now nearly all cards are in stock or at least have pre-order facility. :)

The £400 increase in price of the TUF over the KFA2 is nowhere near worth it, it is literally throwing money away that you could use to buy a new case and PSU with.

I 100% agree with you about the pricing.

If I had not gotten an ek block specifically for the TUF series then I'd go for the KFA2 without a second thought. I wanted the nickel + acetal look they offered (not a fan of plexi personally)

I can't wait for the founders 4090 to reappear, So I've gone for the new MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X OC 24GB.
I can't find any reviews, But MSI are a good company. Very excited.
