Morgan Rogers is leaving Boro to join Villa, Fabrizio has tweeted it so expect that to happen now. Hearing rumours of 8m upfront and 7.5m addons, personally I feel like Boro should have been pushing for more considering theres an apparent 25% sell on fee owed to Man City.

According to other reports the £4m is a penalty fee if he doesn't play a set number of appearances with the actual loan fee just £750k.

Seems a pretty good fee for half a season for a player who they weren't planning on playing. Even better if they have guaranteed him football too.
They're desperate to sell him. All window they've been briefing the press of how much they want and it's slowly been coming down. Even just a few hours ago they were supposed to be demanding a minimum £5m up front loan fee and now it's down to £750k.
The Independent are saying it's £750k + a penalty fee if he doesn't play a certain amount of games that he's fit for and the Guardian are saying it's just £750k + his wages for 6 months which takes the total to £4m(ish). Either way they're not getting their £50m or anything like that nor an obligation that he'll be signed in the summer and this is the problem Chelsea are going to have. Everybody knows they're desperate to sell so they're going to drive the hardest bargains going.

He's certainly not a £50m player, let alone with the lack of bargaining power Chelsea have but if he can score 7-8 goals between now and the end of the season then they might be able to get something reasonable for him. A 10-15 goal a season striker might not sound that impressive but for 6-7 sides down the bottom of the table he could be hugely valuable. As above though, whoever wants him will try to take the **** with their offer.
