January Transfer Window

Yes because Patrick Vieira is the only big black French man!! You really think Vieira would go from Inter Milan to Hartlepool.

He's injured at the moment too :)

Heck it's more likely to be Diaby!

No I don't actually think Vieira would sign for hartlepool.

TBH I can't imagine any big black Frenchman would want to sign for Hartlepool, it must be a young un looking for a break

actually the french thing might have been a mistake, it would be easy to make if you were confronted by the new Vieira.

I think Sissoko is a decent player, but not worthy of a starting place in any of the top 4's team. Not worth the amount of money some people have suggested he would be sold for either.

Man Utd are still a striker short if we swap Saha - and I have no doubt it WONT be eto'o either :D (great bubblewrap joke)

I think Simpson will be great - but someone to push WB now would be fabulous also (even though Wes has actually been pretty good recently imo should start Wednesday with Richards going into the centre). GN isnt going to be back for a while yet it seems :(

Id love Utd to try get Quagliarella again, what a finish that guy has!

Had to laugh at this one..

Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has suggested that the Gunners might be tempted to sell him if Real Madrid came in with a £100m offer. (The Independent)

i dunno, i can't recall what we paid for him to be honest. Judging by how pundits seem to rate him on the whole, he'd be worth a nice 12-15m deal, as i rate him 6-7 mil maybe. he's no where near as good as he thinks, or most pundits. he's just a lazy so and so most of the time. when he's 100% motivated and runs around like he's had a couple litres of red bull he's pretty decent, but even then he's not a particularly great finisher. when he's having a slow game where he can't be bothered, coupled with his finishing he's fairly crap.

if we could sell him for 5 mil and get anelka for 10m i'd be happy. if someone was mad enough to offer anywhere from 15-100mil i'd hope wenger would take the money instantly.

I'd personally carry Adebayor all the way to Madrid if it was worth £100m.

I still think Ade has a fair bit to improve upon, and hopefully that will come with time. But with the form Bendtnetndnder is showing at the moment, he'd better hope he doesn't get a significant injury any time soon, or he'll have trouble getting back in.

Lots of rumours today that City will bid for Crouch in January, City's owner (can't spell his name) has came out and said Sven's interested in him etc but Rafa has said in his press conference today that he won't be selling Crouch.

Hopefully we won't be selling him and we can tie him down to a new deal :)

Liverpool treat Crouch really poorly.
Him and Torres are miles better than kuyt and veronin.
He deserves better imo and would be a big success at city

I agree. Crouch is Liverpool's second best striker but Rafa just doesn't see it by the looks of things.

I think Kuyt works hard but rarely has any effect on the game and for me Voronin is just a worse version of Kuyt, so that makes him just **** lol.

Best news I've heard all day. We need to keep hold of our best players and he's one of them!

I dont rate Crouch at all, but even so I'd rather have him playing even if both his legs were broken than Veronin.

I've never seen a more ineffectual player.

Yea that Veronin isn't up to much, Voronin's not been doing too badly though :p

Seriously though with the exception of a couple of shocking performances Voronin has done more than Kuyt and Crouch this season.
