The ONE AND ONLY ***OFFICIAL*** Crysis thread - SPOILERS!

I really enjoyed fighting the aliens, thought they were really well designed and the levels were very nice, good atmosphere throughout.

Certainly didn't get boring like Far Cry did with the mutants, I like Crytek for not just making it human opponents all the way through.
 
wtf, I just arrived at the level where you have to go to the harbour, and destroy the third cannon, my fps took a massive hit :S

even when I lowered details, 20fps was still min :(
 
decided to uninstall the game untill they sort out the glitches and some better performing drivers come out.

its a damn good game, just isnt polished.

I know you've done it now, but just in case anyone else is having difficulty, I thought I'd put this here.

When you need to shoot open the hatch, the mothership deploys 3 or 4 aliens. If you kill all of them, another 4 get deployed. If you leave one alive, no more get sent. 1 can be avoided pretty easy, giving you time to find ammo/ shoot the hatch and nuke away.

Oh, and if you let yourself get frozen, you'll most likely die ;) Just avoid the freeze ray.

It depends entirely on how you approach the game, if you go all guns blazing im sure its probably around 7 hours. I took around just over an hour on each level but thats because i kept sneaking around and beating koreans to death :p.

Its a target render similar to the one of Killzone 2 used at E3 a few years back. Blur studios was employed to create it so that Crytek could create an engine as close to the target render as feasible. Dont get your hopes up of seeing CG quality gfx like that for another few of years at least. Thats not in any way to say crysis on very high isnt good as its stunning but its not in the same league as CG. Imo though, crysis very high looks more photorealistic than some CG renders as you can tell they are animated, though the body animations and world interaction look far more realistic in CG.

Im really Stuck, i just got into a VTOL and have to Pilot it, all i have been doing is killing the Aliens, succesfully killed them all i have no idea where to go, i keep thinking i have to pick people up or VTOl's are going to come and help me but nothing, Where do i go?

I just flew away towards the bridge and the objective failed but I finished the level, nothing happened at all, flew around for 30 minutes and nothing.
