becomes a mute point with rank10 spectre weapons and other rank10 items as they each cost around 1mill by themselves

Yep, well you re-earn that cash in no time at all given that a single geth kill nets you 30-45k in cash. So far all I have seen are spectre weapons and once they're obtained you never have to worry about money again.

I'm constantly at my 150 item inventory limit and have to keep converting things into poxi gel.

There are 6, they are all Biotics, and I have bugger all biotic resistance and have chosen Tali and Ashley (why I don't know!) as team mates. Even if I use the teams abilities I just get a group of them running at me and throwing me to the floor every five seconds, and when I do actually manage to fire some shots off I can hit them dead on with the assault rifle while kneeling yet I still get taken out with a few shots from them. I have managed to get to the hostage but they kill him, and as soon as the fight starts I am dead within 10 seconds. After 10 attempts at it it is rather annoying to say the least.

The X range Spectre Master Gear weaps are the best ones. There's two classes of spectre weaps. The HMWSR X range is the best, and there's also a HMVxxx something something version that are cheaper and offer less punch.

HMWA X Assault Rifle
Damage: 384
Shots/Overheat: 77
Accuracy: 77
3 upgrade slots.

The HMWSG X Shottie:
Damage: 378
Shots/Overheat: 7
Accuracy: 91
3 upgrade slots.

Hmm, wish I could remember. Afaik once that Rich achievement is unlocked you could get both types.

Just had another bash at clearing the level which I am stuck on and it was getting to the point where I wanted to smash my controller through the monitor as it's impossible. It's retarded.

I finished my first run at level 47 and only had access to the Spectre level VII gear. I'm not sure exactly when it was unlocked, but, at level 52, I now have access to the level X gear. So I assume it was unlocked at 50.


Sounds like he's on the hostage mission. I'd use Liara and Wrex, as both have good biotic resistance.

Use shotgun, dodge their biotic attacks. Get you and your team into the doorway before you start fighting and it should be easier. Same goes with the the hostage part - run back to the corridor and pick off each one.

Dam, i feel your pain, Halo 3 got about 3 hrs SP play before COD4 flash banged into my life. I think i shall have to stop reading thisa thread and 4get about mass until after Xmas !

I've just being taking it slowly and have done 3 uncharted planets and am at about 9 hours. Loving this game defiantly the best game so far for the 360.

The map system seems a bit bloated however, I'd rather just see planets that you can land on rather than loads with just brief text descriptions.
