Yea sure, I'm really bored atm and have another 17 days untill college starts.
 
Well, had to RMA my RAM a couple of times, but went to install it and it just hangs on install after processing 385MB.

Running Vista 32bit
Running as Admin, XP compatibility mode.
Install to 'My Games' directory that I created (heard Program Files is write protected)

How long have people been finding it takes - I get impatient after 10 mins of the same screen....


Ubisoft games go straight on (Far Cry, Pacific Fighters). Haven't tried BF2 yet, but it'll probably struggle coming from EA.
 
Quick question about using the XBOX360 controller. The pedal buttons on the back on the controller, they can be pushed in and out so i was wondering can they be used in TDU as a progressive accelarator and brake? So the more i 'squeeze' them the more accelaration/brake. Or is like a digital button where its all or nothing?
 
if you use XBCD drivers, they can be bound to an axis, thus making them progressive, i think with the sub bar mess that is the default, they are treated as digital buttons...xbcd are the better drivers all round anyway, rumble, binding, dead zones etc
 
where do i get these from? As I wanted to use it for TDU and perhaps other games just to add a bit of realism to the driving.
 
did all the single player stuff, had every car, all the clothes and houses i wanted, and no real desire to complete the often laggy multiplayer aspect
 
Was at about 97% completed, reinstalled windows the other day, backed up my profile, but TDU refuses to load it. :/

Can't be bothered to start all over again, this game will just collect dust on my desk now.
 
I wont be playing mine anymore, was thinking of selling it but I cant because the DVD Drive destroyed the disk :rolleyes:

Is it legal to just sell the CD Key, and sell it on these forums in MM?

err no, they are one axis, not digital. :p i.e. if you pressed both exactyly half way you would get a zero overall throttle, but if you press the accelerator half way and the brake 1/4 of the way you would get 1/4 throttle etc. It's annoying in RBR etc. not being able to left-foot-brake but for TDU it's not that important

still havent sussed that with xbcd, you can bind to 2 seperate axis, but i dont think they 0 properly then, havnt tried in a while.
 
Anyone still playing? I'm bored waiting for UT3 and no other fun racing games out?

Anyone want a cruise? Got TDU working again.
 
I haven't had much time recently but I did reinstall TDU on my PC just before the Xmas hols so when I go back it'd be ready. However I screwed up the install for the XBCD drivers so now the drivers are totally screwed needing a full reinstall of XP I reckon.
 
my game keeps crashing, really annoying. can't wait for the patch to come out in may, hopefully get rid of most the bugs in this game. Does anyone else keep hitting invisible cars?
