Babies...

The computer theme of this forum is shining through here.

Im getting images of either the dude 'Warlock' out of Die Hard 4.0 or the comic book guy in the Simpsons.

For all those who are moaning about kids crying in the streets for attention.

How about you look at your fellow childless adults, the ones who get drunk and end up shouting abuse? The ones shouting abuse while sober? The ones talking on their mobile phones as they walk down the street? The idiots in their "loud" cars?

There are many many more examples of annoying sounds from people in this world. At least from a child it has a purpose and a reason.

It astounds me how many selfish posts there have been in this thread.

I can wake up in the morning to have my son waiting at the side of the bed with a huge smile on his face and he tells me he loves me. Take any car, any pc even any woman and nothing will beat that.

Raising a child well is the single greatest achievement any person can hope to achieve. If in doubt go and ask your parents.

I dont think many people would condone other behaviour that you mention but this thread is about babies. It is far from selfish about being annoyed about kids, you made your life style choice but others have to put up with it, now who is the selfish one here ?? The day I expect others to put up with my choices that annoy and inconvieniece other peopleI will happily admit I am selfish.

I always wondered why some of the half wit scum on the dole have so many children, its because they feel they are accomplishing the single greatest achievement in their lives time and time again. That would explain a lot.

Please tell me that the second part of your post was not aimed at me.

Most people have annoying little idiosyncracies but you put up with it as its part of this thing called tolerance.

A child is not as responsible for its actions as an adult is for theirs.

In reality my lifestyle choice was made for me, we both used contraception but ended up pregnant. Yes you could argue it was our choice as we never had an abortion but neither of us believe in that.

Exactly, children grow and develop, by about 5-6 they (hopefully) understand some basics about what is and isn't acceptable.

Seriously you have to be joking, maybe about 1-2 they start to know the difference between right and wrong, if they havent you aint hit them hard enough :p

Personally, I don't see the point in living a life and then dieing without having kids, it's rather pointless(I don't have kids but I've helped to raise um). Afterall it's part of every species to reporduce, then again we are the only species that has real freedom of choice in the matter. Sure there's the overpopulation issue in some countries but that's down to mortality etc.

All the people complaining about kids crying in supermarkets or acting spoilt and asking for the latest thing, well that's just down to bad parenting so blame them and not the kids. It's perfectly possible to raise kids who don't misbehave out of order in public places.

I would say even later than that, I've read about it before but don't ask me for links right now as I simply cba :p
