just got a Q6600 G0 But these are sorely tempting especially for gaming. They should hit 4ghz on air no problem.

I suspect by that time though we will all be GPU limited. Roll on the HD3870 X2!

I'm abit dissapointed in the prices, are there going to be plenty in stock E.G. not a massive shortage like those 8800GT's as I will order one later on when prices go down.

An extra £60 for .16Ghz is pathetic TBH, the E8400 is by far the best value.

Some tested at xtremesystems didn't do as well as the ES samples suggested; but if memory serves the A variety of E6750 didn't clock as well as the B variety.

Not sure still, the difference might only be a couple hundred Mhz between E8400 and E8500 in clocking.. we need an expert opinion
