tbh you can even play on normal and get it fairly easily with a few skulls on. Have a look at some of my scores on Normal with Tough Luck, Catch, Fog, Thunderstrom and x2 silver skulls. Didn't really try anything out of the ordinary just went through on got it. I know Bungie recommend Heroic with several skulls on, but thats making things difficult for yourself.

Please ignore some of the pathetic scores from the 28/12/07 as i was playing very very late at night and deep in conversation - think it was with TorchMT360 and shiftylive?

Definately play it alone too.

We completed the coop game with 4 players on legendary despite 2 of us *ahem* nading each other the whole way through

As for the controls I don't know why people say it doesn't work well with a mouse and keyboard, it feels fine.

Not that I play them, much better games than Halo 1/2 to be played.

Nasty mouse input lag and stuttering ruined any chance of it being competitive online.

Whenever i go on COD4 it's only got about probably 150,000 people tops whereas halo is probably 400,000 at about the same time.

There were only 400 people playing the DLC playlist at about 1 this afternoon, same with social skirmish. I noticed only 41,000 people playing in the world too which is quite insane unless the figure was wrong. Im not suprised to see it knocked off the top spot tbh, it isnt as good as Halo 2 - simple

Weird, I definitely didn't have that on the first Halo even on my old PC, I played 2 briefly and didn't have that either. (the stuttering)

Didn't notice anything with the mouse but didn't play for that long.

It buggy and laggy, a damn shame and it puts me right off it.

It is slightly buggy yer, but can't say I found it laggy at all. In fact, it was one of the smoothest online experiences I've had on a 360 game.

I'll agree with that, the melee system is annoying and better maps are needed.

If you don't have full green bars it's unplayable. CoD4 manages this latency just fine.

Just finished the campaign tonight. An old school fps fan here.

What can I say? It hits all the right buttons. Almost flawless game design. Grade A classic in my view.

Not really, if i don't have 4 bars on connection then it seems to need a lot more hits to kill somone (my xbox says its hitting the opponent, host's says otherwise)

It completely changes the game mechanics when that happens. I wish there was a play europeans only option.

Grenade timing, assassinations and lunges all get screwed up too.

Shotgun turns into bubble gun. Sniper rifle becomes flare gun. Lag can be a cruel mistress. Doesn't help when your flatmates are downloading

They don't during they day. It seemed to have cocked up when virgin took over telewest. Cheers *******.
