Where about in itune you see your phone number never notice

When you sync your iPhone you'll see your iPhone's name, storage capacity, serial number and your telephone number.

All iPhone software updates are stored at the following location;

In vista it is:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates

Dunno about XP. I imagine it will be:

C:\documents and settings\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates

Just do a windows search for .ipsw or 1.1.4 and you will find it.

Pretty sure it may be a 02-only thing, but it only works with a jailbroken iPhone.

Using the same SIM and same iTunes install it isn't apparent on a legit setup.

Have updated three phones now, one from 1.1.2, one from 1.1.3 (mine) and a brand new untouched 1.1.3. Broke mine with iNdependence and the others with the latest ZiPhone release. Both methods worked perfectly. Really good stuff. Now roll on the SDK!

I was watching a video on my iPod Touch on Tuesday, boom the iPod shut off and was displaying the "Connect to iTunes" prompt, I had to wipe EVERYTHING including my music.

Nice glitch there.

I also lost my jailbreak and now I'm on normal 1.1.4, bah.

Where are contacts, SMSs and pictures (from camera) stored?

Need to wipe my brother's phone and he cba to input all the contacts.

It's saved in iTunes when you sync the phone. When you plug in the freshly restored and unlocked phone it will ask you if you want to use the backup on the new phone.
