3 years ago Xbox Live was great but now its mostly a lag fest.
I was also wondering as i pay £40 a year for P2P gaming
would it be to much to ask for a new demo as there
hasnt been one for 3 weeks.
Halo 3 would be a good start as you've made your billions out of it
and I'd like to sample the demo please.
also while i am here could you personal deliver a new console
to my door as my 5th one is starting to make some odd noises
and as you well know you gimp its only a matter of time before it
self destructs.
apart from that i love the Xbox360. ;)

anyone else want to write a virtual letter to mr gates? lol

would u even write to mr gates anymore? thought he stepped downz

and there was a halo 3 sample, ** fault for missing out :p

yeah...
Dear Mr Gates,
XBox Live at £40 a year is great value, I have no lag issues or any problems - keep up the good work.
Also, just to let you know my 1st XBox 360 is still going strong, and I'm very pleased with it, thanks.

Someone's a bit late to the 360-bashing bandwagon, but I see you've given it a go anyway

My XBox Live service has always been great, and £40 a year is peanuts for what you get from the service. Christ, that's less than it costs to go to the cinema 6 times in a year, and the entertainment value from Live is far greater. I wish people would just stop whining about the XBox and Live now, there's nothing wrong with either. If you want a free, crappy online service, get a sodding PS3 instead!

Dear Mr. Gates.

I love you. You're great. Everything you do turns to gold (apart from the silly bug in MSDOS3.3 - durrrrr - silly Billy [see what I did there Bill])

Lots of love and kisses,

~J~
Your #1 fan.

To be honest, I'd second his letter. I do find the value in it (apart from that little time during Christmas) and my current Xbox (first one) is still running happily.

Just a simple tip, if your 4th Xbox is dying, put it somewhere else, I'd say 8/10 times, you've got it in a corner that's not ventilated enough.

Dear Bill,
Lend me a Mill, Email in Trust, You know the rest.

P.S.
Loving me Sexbox.

Malc.

Still my fave console of all time

when they make the next Xbox i want it more reliable (mine is well ventilated thanks) and i'd like xbox live to offer dedicated servers for online gaming.
unlike "some" people i like companies to improve their product
happy gaming :)

And exactly what is crappy about the PS3 online service? Ok it doesn't have the integration that live does but that's it, it offers better pings, less lag, more players online and best of all, you can actually play on euro servers which means no bloody yanks (yay!) gobbing off throughout the whole game.
What's the point in stating that someones a bit late to the 360 bashing wagon and then bashing the PS3, kind of ironic (or childish) don't you think? But please, do tell us more about the crappy free service of Sony.

I'm surprised some people say they don't or have never had any lag issues on XBL. Seeing as there were hundreds of threads and thousands of complaints about it not so long ago, with many of the posters being banned from the xbox forums etc... It's a very well known fact that the XBL service severely screwed itself not so long ago and most of my XBL mates are still having major problems.

Live integration is great, the messaging, invites etc, spot on, but that's all it has over Sony. You fanboys can say and argue anything you like, but Live's P2P will NEVER give better pings, connection or lag free gaming like the dedicated servers Sony provide and that is FACT.

Live with it.

lol.

Please stop banning people for making back up copies of their disks please. Or please instruct shops to refund disks scratched by the "BOX"

Lol, you make it sound like every time you play on a PS3 there's a dedicated server. Reality check. Only a fraction of the PS3's games have dedicated servers (warhawk, R:FoM rank play), the vast majority are P2P ala 360 (Burnout: Paradise and COD4 for example).

And some new 360 games like Frontlines Fuel of War do have dedicated servers.

no offence but its not great accomplishment to microsoft to have their consoles still working. They all (witihin reason) should still be working.

Someone got owned.

Why? Because theyre attempting stop piracy on 360? instead of downloading games go out and buy them
