Assassin's Creed this Friday, whose getting it ?

The game keeps freezing up on me too - does it not like anything overclocked? Takes me 10 minutes to get back into Windows!

No problems here, got everything overclocked too.

Yep, I've given up on it now! Happens literally every 5-10 minutes (usually just before a save point or something). Tried fiddling around with my overclocking settings but it doesn't appear to make a difference. Bugger.

Quick way to get back to windows if a game hangs - Hold Start key and press L, should take you to the log in screen almost instantly, log in and the game will be minimised and just end the process in task manager.

With regards to the XT1900 512mb, my 1950Pro runs the game very smoothly with everything set to high. Mines not overclocked! Even with settings on medium, its looks very nice

It's not actually hanging - it's shutting down the entire computer. Then it fails to boot for a good 10 minutes!

You sure its the games causing that? Whats your temps whilst playing?

Nothing out of the ordinary I don't think. Apparently its happening to a lot of people with overclocks.

When my graphics card overheats it normally freezes, and then stutters a few seconds later. This is a totally different symptom! It only happens at load points too. Hasn't done it once during actual gameplay

I didn't just O/C my cards for this game, they O/Clocked 24/7, even for Peggle

Well guys i got it this morning and been on it for hours, the controls take a bit of getting used to but i really like the graphics, and style of the game, and more so the actual entire story of the game is pretty good too!

no it didnt, it ran fine maxed out at 1080P on my 7900GTO.

I have a DualShock pad, and can imagine it being easier to play..
