Wasn't aware of that Nokkon as it state's no where on the page any competitor. Which is why I posted it.

The station repair disks, so try that if there is one near you.

I was just mentioning it as rather than do it online he could take it to two of the three high street competitors to get it sorted.
A lot places have a disk repair service that you can use for £2 now,
It really does work too, The popular rental chain have them in most stores

Loool, yeah they wanted to know why it was smelling very minty. I cant believe i even tried that but worth a go.
The scratch has prety much disapeared but there is a slight mark where the scratch was. I really hope this works. I will find out in an hour.
I did try that my good man but to no avail. The game shop cleaned it for me. I will see if it works tonight, hopefully.

Yeah, 8 out of 10 games manufacturers recommend it.
Don't forget to take the disc in for it's six month check up.
...okay, no more toothpaste humour, I promise...

There's also http://www.scratchbusters.co.uk who are apparently very good. I need to send them my Mass Effect and Excite Truck discs after the dog had a go at them.
You can request an envelope on the website and send the discs in that way too.

Had the same thing happen to me, but i keep my xbox flat and didnt move it at all. All my other discs are fine and my GTA4 disc is almost immaculate apart from 2 little scratches near the outside of the disc.
The disc loads the intro and can sometimes get into the game , but then I get the 'disc is unreadable error'.
Going to the shop where I bought it from and hopefully I can get a replacment.
