Idiot people saying to sell Rooney.
:(

Honestly, the poor lad hasnt had a decent break to recover in nearly 6 years, he's been booted from pillar to post, hacked down more times then you care to mention and played every game he has been fit to play.
He needs a break, he needs some light gym work over the summer to keep his fitness up and that is it.

i watched his standing leg, he didnt slip, he just missed and then fell on the floor. like he wanted to slide on his back waving his hands in the air as though he had just won the champs league with Chelsea.

great clip.

looks more like his ankle buckles and then he drags his foot half of his studs in the turf half out, injuring his ankle?

Aren't those two statements a bit contradictory?

To be honest, does it really matter, he missed, end of, manu won.

Not especially but it is something to discuss. For the little it matters I still think he slipped or at least didn't place his foot properly.

What's up dude?
You should be the euphoric ying to my depressed yang today:)

Couldnt get up for it before the match, didnt really feel a great deal during the match, and I'm a bit "meh" about it all today.

I read a post about someone saying to sell my favorite player and it gets me down.
He is better than any other player United have and epitomizes the kind of attitude a united player should have.

I'm not myself at the minute, sorry.

Andy Gray pro Chelsea?!!?!?!?!?!?

What are you on?

He has been for a while and it was very noticeable last night. He doesn't like Man Utd either, I don't think he gets on with Ferguson.

After Man Utd scored the first penalty last night he started to ramble on about Chelsea then let slip "Good luck boys".

I'm surprised anyone wasn't aware Andy Gray loves Chelsea.

I think his problem in relation to goals is very much a mental one. His confidence is shot.
I've been as big of a fan as anyone about Rooney for a long time, but when the team sheet was announced last night he was the weakest link of the starting XI and that's quite incredible.

We have Tevez, a player who is stronger, better with the ball at his feet, better at holding the ball, better at interchange and he has a much, much better mentality in that he doesn't start lashing out with stupid tackles. Rooney on his day is absolutely top class, but there is no longer any consistency to his game. Look where he was 2.5 years ago and he was a much, much, much better player than he is now.

Apart from ex-players (Cundy, Wilkins, Elliot etc.) I've never been aware of any pundits being pro Chelsea, or any media hacks for that matter.
I'd never have put Andy Gray in that bracket that's for sure but perhaps being ex Villa and Everton he might not favour Man.U. but he's certainly never seemed pro anyone bar them to me:)

Well.........................

We had the first half, should have been 3-1 up

Chelsea had the second half and looked really dangerous whilst not creating much apart from hitting the post and bar but saying that we also should have scored apart from JT's world class stop (read: bounced of his head, luckily)

I thought it was a cracking game and had several heart attacks during the 90 minutes and more continued to rumble through my chest in extra time

I dont like penalties i dont think its any way for a team to win or lose

I would have loved Vidic to have copped Drogba one in the gob it would have capped a perfect night

I'm gonna have to change my sig

We're Premier League Champions and Champions League winners, that is a very nice feeling :)

My head didnt half hurt this morning

Why is Barry talking about my GF and a champagne bottle

On the 26th May '99 i work up with my then GF and a bottle of champagne

Anyway.................

Dude, there's you and quite a few others in here now that I sort of feel happy for, revelling in your Red cesspit of victory, even though you're a **** of the highest order and we deserved to win of course;)
And I hope none of you took the little banning fun the wrong way:)

Edit: I'm still sozzled :o
