I don't know how I did it but basically I had it running on very low settings except textures at about 30 fps, then out of curiosity I turned bloom on. Went down to about 27 fps. Then I decided to turn on 2x AA. The game restarted with the AA applied and bloom disabled (It seems you can't have bloom and AA at the same time). Suddenly my FPS shot up to 50 and the graphics looked fairly decent also. I have not been able to replicate this even after 4 hours of trying. 30FPS isn't exactly bad for gaming though imo, anything over 25FPS is a decent framerate for gaming, 20 is sometimes plausible depending on the game and your PC.

What does everyone think of the PvP so far? Personaly I think it's pretty awful, mainly because to do combos I have to stand still, and so do other classes I believe (I'm a lvl 23 Conqueror) so PvP just ends up both players standing there doing combos / spells, I want to have to move a bit atleast etc (and for it to require some skill).

Also the balance is dire, a ranger put me in a trap and I was unable to move before I died, damage didn't break the effect or anything. A mage class, demon I think did some stunning spell, 6 sec stun, casted 2 spells and again, I died before I could move.

Need to give it more time anyway, but if the PvP doesn't improve soon, I'll prob quit.

How about leveling up a bit more so you get your counter abilitys to roots and such?

30 fps is reasonable, but not when it also looks like a PS1 game.

And that 30fps was at the starting area with only my character on screen, I dread to think what the fps would be in cities, or fighting with multiple opponents...etc.

I mean it shouldn't be like this, my system isn't exactly crap. 30 fps or less, looks like a PS1 game, bad screen tearing. It just makes me feel ill. I would have expected it to at least run at a steady 60 fps when it looks as bad as it does at absolute lowest settings.

Total stab in the dark, its not a laptop with power saving settings that need changing up to 'optimal' or something daft is it?

I've watched quite a few pvp vids and they seem to move a fair bit - afterall you'd have to move to stand a chance against any casters no? :confused:
 
Really struggling.

Got my ToS to level 8, but all the quests now available in Tortage seem way to hard for me and me lighting seems very weak compared to 4 levels ago. I can't even take on a group of 2 the same level as me.

Has anyone else found this or am I just doing something wrong?

I do seem to be getting new skills, they just don't seem very useful. Quick sand for instance roots an enemy for 5secs, but it takes me 3 secs to cast my next spell :rolleyes:

Well, the key you get with the game will be linked to your account, so not you can't take the game back. You could probably sell your account to a friend or something if they want to play it but other than that, no you can't return it because the key is bound to you/your account.
 
Has anyone managed to login to the forums? I was going to post a thread about my performance issues but it says invalid username/password (Yes I'm on the EU forums not the US ones)
