Oh very much so. I just thought it was ironic. Not many other CEOs go on stage to talk about the advantages of their product over their predecessors the way Jobs does heh.

Just downloaded the MobileMe video. Is this service free? or they going to charge for it?

EDIT: ugh looks its a chargeable service :|

So have they realised that a lot of people have brought them without a contract and unlocked, only £30 more than they were before but you MUST sign a contract....

I'll wait and see tomorrow I think
 
Heh well the 11th is my birthday lol, oo what a wonderful day!! Will want to see if it has copy and paste as that is a little annoying. I was also wondering can you get education discounts on these, I would think not but just asking.
 
I am tempted but £35 a month is a little too much for me so I hope they have cheaper contracts for this one. Ideally I would like to unlock it and put it on something like Simplicity Online 25 with web bolt on but it all depends if you need to sign the contract before you get the phone. It's inevitable that it will be jail-broken and unlocked within weeks of release.
 
GPS - I have that on my N95......don't use it.
3G - Same

What I love about my iphone is that it is an ipod and a phone. I also like the fact that it is metal and not plastic back too, think i'll stick with it for a while until the dust settles (jailbreak, no contract).

I can wait a month or 2.

So do i, but there is going to be VERY little chance of the unlocking fiasco happening again. Apple are money grabbing whores and steve jobs probably cut himself each night when he saw the money being lost through unlocking. Their business model went **** up that time and it wont happen a second time*

So an iphone 3g version eh??...hmmm just browsing the apple website, the american one and they have it up and being released for 11th of july....which is interesting because im going to be there for 8 weeks so might pick one up depending on if they are unlockable etc.

Hmmm now i have major decisions to make about my next phone, looking at the HTC diamond, iphone 3g and the Sony Xperia X1....
 
I know ive been bitching about the camera not getting a flash but its time to talk about another flash.

The same processor etc inside of the iphone leads me to believe the iphone wont be supporting adobe flash anytime soon either dispite rumors?

Flash runs poorly on the iphone in an interview with apple some time ago so where do you think they'll go with that?
 
Anyone have a link to the proper specs of the new iphone??..ie does it support bluetooth audio...mms etc etc??...stuff they left out the first time around?.

I hope it is unlockable, can buy it, unlock it then put my Simplicity in it.

I guess it will all pan out tomorrow.

My money is on this method. Would seem like madness if they were sold it in the current way.
